ILCSWMA "Unwanted Medication Collections: Review of Programs and Concerns" workshop. 4/8/08. This workshop follows up our training from a year ago on how communities could set-up residential medication collection programs. Come hear how some Illinois communities have addressed this problem, as well as other updates on this important topic. You do not need to have attended last year's training to attend this event.
In the afternoon there will be discussion amongst various environmental, pharmaceutical, and law enforcement agencies (including DEA) on the topic of medication disposal. Hopefully, this interaction will lead to increased collaboration between these groups to address this problem. Click these links for the registration form and the workshop agenda. Please consider joining us for this event.
