November 15, 2024, Springfield, IL – The Illinois Recycling Foundation (IRF), Illinois’ leading voice for sustainable waste management, proudly celebrates National Recycling Day! Today, we call on communities, businesses, and individuals across the state to embrace the power of recycling and create a cleaner, greener Illinois.
This year’s theme, “Recycling: Small Actions, Big Impact,” emphasizes how individual contributions can lead to collective environmental victories. Proper recycling helps conserve natural resources, reduces waste, and protects our planet for future generations.

This National Recycling Day, IRF encourages everyone to:
