Everyone attending this event, including State of Illinois Legislators, received up-to-date information about C&D Recycling including the impact of SB1089 which passed just before this event. Ron Tazelaar, President of TAZ/MBL Recycling and President of the Illinois Recycling Association, conducted a tour of this facility and answered all questions. TAZ Holdings/MBL Recycling is locally owned & operated and looking to make the planet green & reduce the carbon footprint. Proper management & reduction of the amount of construction waste that is thrown away can conserve resources & preserve the environment. MBL is an IEPA permitted facility. Over 75% of inbound materials are recycled in compliance with EPA Section 22.38.
